What are PET acoustic felt sheets?
These are large, 12mm-thick polyester felt boards with a soft, coloured surface. They can be cut and fabricated into decorative wall coverings, screens, furniture inserts and custom interior features.
The material also absorbs reflected sound, helping reduce echo and reverberation in suitable installations. It is not designed to block noise passing through walls.

Acoustic performance and installation
An NRC rating of 0.40 is a sound-absorption measurement under test conditions, not a claim that room noise is reduced by 40%. Installation and fixing methods affect actual performance. PET felt is not a soundproofing barrier.

The published composition specification states 75% recycled polyester content. Supporting technical and environmental documentation can be supplied for relevant projects. Request physical swatches for colour-critical applications.
